How can I manage the requests I receive?


When a client submits a research request, Genlighten creates a project tracking page that lets you and your client easily track the progress every step of the way.

If you click on “All,” you’ll be able to see a list of every request you’ve ever received. The other three options—“Waiting on client,” “Waiting on you,” and “Completed”—let you filter the list.

“Waiting on client” means that the next step in the project is up to your client. For example, it might mean that he or she needs to review your quote to accept or decline or pay an invoice.

“Waiting on you” means that the next step is yours. For example, you might need to consider whether to accept or decline a new request or you might need to upload a report and create a final invoice.

“Completed” means just that. Clicking this link will show you the research projects that you’ve finished.

You can sort these four lists by clicking on the red titles at the top of each column. For example, you can group the list according to status—“Research in Progress,” “Payment Due,” etc. — by clicking on the word “Status.”

To go to a project page, just click on the red project title.
