If you find the name in the Cook County Coroner’s Inquest Index (http://bit.ly/VcW9go), I can often locate the corresponding death certificate (different from the inquest record you’d get from IRAD at NEIU). Turnaround time is usually a few days and if I’m not able to find the record there is no charge.
Please note: The coroner’s death certificates do not provide birth dates, spouse names, or parent names.
