Description
I can search for information about your ancestor (for example: personal notices, probate notices, information about a business your ancestor owned, or birth, marriage, and death notices) in any New York State newspaper currently held on microfilm at the New York State Library. The library has thousands of newspaper titles from many NYS localities and various time periods (ranging from the 1700s to present day) available for searching. You will be provided digital scans of the newspaper header on the first page, the entire page on which the notice is located, and a close up scan of the notice itself. I can turn around requests within two to four weeks. A minimum charge of $12 applies for searches taking less than an hour and for “no record found”.
