Record Scanning from the FHL

I can digitally scan records available from the Family History Library. Turn-around time is usually within a week.

I can perform a quick search of an index if one is available at the FHL, up to five years depending on the index.

Many records are indexed online, sometimes even including FHL film numbers, such as the New York City records indexed by ItalianGen and many records indexed on FamilySearch, also many of the records on JewishGen and JRI-Poland. I can easily scan a record that has been indexed on those or other sites if they are at the FHL.

This rate is for the digitization of one record. To order four or more similar records, you may hire me at my hourly rate and it will often cost less overall.

Provide me with as much information as possible. If you have found an online index, tell me where you found the information. Include the FHL film number if you have it and whatever identifying record or page number so I can find the record.

ItalianGen finds should include the names, date of event, borough, and certificate number. If you have searched using, include the film number. Indexes on FamilySearch often provide the film number in the data along with other identifying numbers for finding the record. JewishGen indexes of FHL records usually include the film number; you should also provide the name, date, type of record, and record or page number.
