Description
I’ll search the Seattle Times from the death date you provide plus one week, and if I find nothing, I’ll then search the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. The newspapers are on microfilm at the downtown Seattle Public Library. Some obituaries contain lots of info about the life of the deceased, survivors, funeral home and burial, while others contain nothing but a date of death. If no obituary is found, you will receive an exact list of the newspapers and dates I checked. (Note: People from outlying areas such as Bellevue, Tacoma, or Everett are usually not found in Seattle papers.) Turnaround time is one week, and since I am charging for my time, the fee is the same, whether or not an obituary is found.
