Description
I will search archives of the Stamford Advocate newspaper (and its predecessor papers, which date back to the early 1800’s) for seven days past the date of death. If I find the obituary, I will scan it in and provide an electronic copy with the complete citation. If I am unable to locate the record, I will provide a listing of the dates searched and, when possible, will suggest alternative searches.
Verified date and place of death are required; if you do not already have this information, please feel free to contact me for suggestions.
Typical turnaround time is 7-10 days; I will verify at the time of your request.
