Responded promptly to my request, and informed me of when it would be completed. He found my record, and let me know, when he said he would. Only problem(on my part) I did not read what was being done carefully enough. In the past when I've have used researchers to find documents, I have always gotten a copy of the document. For this request Dave found the document # and I have to send away for it. Like I said, upon reading again, that is stated, but based on my past experiences, I was expecting a copy of the actual record. I still would have ordered and would use again if needed.

Good afternoon. I would like more details on how your beginner special for 5 hours/$50 works. I have begun the family search for my wife's family, both her maternal and paternal sides. The vast majority are from St. Louis, going back 100+ years, then they are from Europe (Russia, Ukraine). 1. I want to verify what I have found is correct as I am new to this. 2. I want to gather relevant official documents now (birth certificates, death certificates, marriage, etc). Please describe your service, how far you think we can get along in 5 hours, if not complete work in 5 hours how much longer, etc. I can share my ancestry.com info with you so you can see what I have found about her family so far. Hello and thanks for your inquiry. With the Beginner Special 5 hours for $50, I will search for records of your ancestors. This search will be conducted using various methods: on line; visits to libraries; visits to city halls; visits to cemeteries; visits to county seats; visits to churches; newspaper searches; etc. I will spend up to 5 hours researching your family history.
