FAQ for this lookup

Yes, I would be able to help. I would need a complete name to do the lookup. There is no master index for the cemeteries listing so it would take a couple of days to do a lookup in each cemetery to find your ancestor since there are over 95 cemeteries in Livingston County. Thank you, Karen Heinrich
Yes, I have done searches for birth records in the early 20th century in McLean County. I would have to check the Birth index and if your ancestor is on file then I will be able to get a copy of the birth records. Keep in mind Illinois Law did not require Birth, Death, or Marriage records to be recorded until 1916. If the record is not in the index, then there is no record on file. To do your research I would need a first and last name, parent’s names if possible (this helps narrow down if more than one with the same name) and the birth date. A fee for searching the index and locating the record to retrieve the requested information is $10.00. If you want an actual copy of the birth record the fee is $20.00. Sincerely, Karen Heinrich
I would suggest working with the Peoria County Genelogical Society. The link to thier site is the following: http://www.usgennet.org/usa/il/county/peoria1/ If they don't have access to them the National Archives does here is a link to the webpage with information on obtaining naturalization records for Peoria County. http://www.archives.gov/great-lakes/finding-aids/naturalization-records.html Thank you, Karen Heinrich
I apologize about the wait, I was checking several source for a death records after 1900 in Virginia.
