About Me:

I am a professional genealogical researcher, writer, and lecturer, specializing in Maryland research, African-American genealogy, and Civil War records. I am currently serving as the Vice-President of the National Capital Area chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists. I am the creator of The Family History Research Toolkit CD-ROM (Genealogical Publishing Co., 2008), and the author of two genealogy columns for Examiner.com: "African-American Genealogy Examiner" and "Baltimore Genealogy & History Examiner." I am also the instructor for a course in "African-American Genealogy" for the National Institute of Genealogical Studies. I recently self-published my first book, Records of the Slave Claims Commission, 1864-1867, Volume One: Register of Claims of the Delaware Commission.

These files can vary in size from a few pages to over 100, so the pricing would depend on the size of the file, and whether I can simply photograph the documents or if I will have to get them scanned. Send me the citation you have and I will see how much I can tell from the citation itself.
Yes, it does. The $50 fee will cover copying the entire file. Much less than the $75 that NARA charges.
I'm sorry, but I can't offer any bulk discounts. The $50 covers the cost of copying the files and the time it takes to physically photocopy each page. However, this is still much more cost efficient than the $75 minimum that NARA charges for the same service. Thanks!
