About Me:

I am a librarian at the Oklahoma Historical Society Research Library which has some wonderful resources (see www.okhistory.org/research). I have researched families for almost 30 years--I've researched in libraries across the US and also in courthouses (Oklahoma, Texas, Iowa, Ohio, Kansas, California, Arkansas, Alabama). It doesn't have to be my family for me to get involved and to find what needs to be found. Feel free to let me know if you have questions.

Genealogical Training, Certifications, or Society/Association Memberships:

Attended 6 sessions at Samford, including African American, military, advanced methodology, southern research, intermediate, and writing and publishing for genealogists. Member of FGS, NGS, OGS, NEGHR I have attended and taught sessions on searching in newspapers, tracing women, African American newspapers, church records, online searching, finding vital records and substitutes, finding your Civil War ancestor, and "crossing the plains."
