You can check the Allen County Public Library, Fort Wayne, IN library catalog or the ACPL Genealogy Center microtext catalog for availability of your city or area of interest (See links below). As a result of its depository status the ACPL Genealogy Center is home to over 50,000 directories in print format for the U.S. and Canada dating from the present back to 1961. Often there are runs for individual cities back into the 1940s and earlier. In addition there is an extensive directory collection on microfilm.
