Death records have been kept in Baltimore City continuously since 1875. Statewide death records, outside of Baltimore City, have been kept since 1898. From 1898 through 1910, not all state-wide deaths were recorded, but coverage improved greatly after 1910. Full name, exact date, and county of death or Baltimore City must be provided.
