Besides names of the bride and groom and marriage date, records may include occupations, names of witnesses, information about parents. I will go to a local repository library which houses microfilm copies of the original registrations filed in the British Columbia Archives in Victoria, BC. I will make a copy of the registration that matches your criteria, or let you know if I am unable to find a matching record. Quality of copy will depend on factors like condition of the original document before microfilming, legibility of handwriting on the original document, and other things beyond my control. Turnaround time for your request will usually be 3 days. NOTE: Effective June 2011, there will be no general release of the 1934 and 1935 marriage registrations at this time. Copies of individual marriage registrations for 1934 and 1935 must be ordered directly from the BC Vital Statistics Agency. Details for ordering can be found here: http://www.vs.gov.bc.ca/marriage/certified_reg_req.html
Fee if I find the record you requested: $5.00
Fee if I don’t find the record after a thorough search: $3.00
