I will search microfilm copies of Vancouver newspapers for up to five issues following the date of death. Depending on time frame and publication schedule, this may mean five daily issues or five weekly issues. My fee includes costs for the photocopy, parking, and a one-hour (for one way) commute to the repository library. Turnaround time for your request will usually be within ten days.

Please send me the full name of the deceased person (include nicknames) date of death, and place of death. If the person carries a very common name (like John Smith), please provide some unique detail that can help me identify the correct person (e.g., name of spouse, occupation, date or place of birth, etc.). If you need more than one obituary, please create a request for each one separately.
