My love of history and stories of the past began at a young age listening to my father's stories of his childhood. I have been digging into the past to better understand my family history for over 10 years. And I would enjoy assisting you with your research problems, helping you learn the stories of your ancestors. My training includes the NGS Home Study Course (in process) and courses in genealogy research methods at the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy, the Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research, and the Genealogical Research Institute of Pittsburgh. I also regularly attend national conferences of NGS and local genealogical conferences in New York and New England.
I have easy access to many repositories in eastern upstate New York and western Massachusetts. See my offerings for some ideas; let me know what you need and I can provide customized research tailored just for you. Research in MA, NH, and Vt. is also possible.
