I grew up on the west side of Cincinnati, Ohio and Dearborn County Indiana. After spending 7 years in the Army, my family settled northeast of Boston, Massachusetts. I have been involved in genealogical research for many years working on my own family history and family tree work.. It was a natural progression to professional, for me. War of 1812, Mexican War, Civil War and periods of no declared war; Service and Pension Records, military unit histories. I pull records from many repositories. Many military records were lost in a fire at the NPRC, making researching veterans very difficult. I have found ways to still get info.
