I am a Scottish-based Professional Genealogist holding a PGDip in Genealogical Studies from the University of Strathclyde. I own and operate my own research company, Scotia Roots Family & Military Research Services and have recently introduced a new service providing Ancestral Tours of Scotland. I have several years research experience in all manner of genealogical investigations including full family histories, one-off document retrieval, military ancestor reports, document transcriptions and many more.
I generally visit the main Scottish repositories in Edinburgh including The National Archives of Scotland, The Scotlands People Centre and the National Library of Scotland, but I regularly travel to repositories throughout the country to complete work for my clients.
