Deborah Cook, is an historic archaeologist, genealogist, historian, and published author. Through her firm, Time Detective Research Services, she provides clients with a wide range of services in historic and genealogical research and writing; with 30 years of experience history related disciplines. Since 1985 I have consulted on numerous historic and genealogical research projects, media research projects, and legal research projects. I have extensive knowlege of Amador County records, with 8 years experience, employed as the Amador County Archivist. I also have extensive research experience in Alpine, Calaveras, Eldorado, Placer, Sacramento, and Nevada Counties.
Research specialties include archival, court, property, mining, vital records, governement documents, published/unpublished materials, directories, and existing genealogies. Extensive expertise in the California Gold Rush era in Central and Northern California.
