Interested in having researchers quote on a custom project for you? Submit a proposal using the form below. We'll broadcast your request to our providers. They'll review it, message you with questions, then respond with a quote if they're interested in taking on your project.
Think of it as help wanted ad. It's a research project idea that isn't directed toward a specific provider. Any provider may submit a quote for the potential client's review.
If possible, titles should include a search summary, a place, and a date. For example, "Divorce Search, Oneida County, NY, c. 1951."
Providers will use this information to decide whether or not they can help with your search. Provide a quick summary of what you need. Avoid adding unnecessary details. Providers will message you if they need additional information.
Use this field to give providers an idea of what you have budgeted to spend on your project. If you'd rather not say, just put $5.00 in the box and "Budget to be determined." in the description box.
To view public requests, go to your client dashboard and click the link for "All" under "Public Requests." To quote, you'll need to register as a provider.
Moderators receive email notification whenever a new post is waiting for review and you can expect the status to change to "active" pretty quickly. Many times it will be a few minutes, sometimes it will be a few hours, and occasionally it may be the following morning (or evening) depending on when you post.
Go to your dashboard and click on "All" listed under "Public Requests."
