About Me

My name is Patricia Duro and I love genealogy. I believe it is an important pursuit. The foundation of our culture depends on it. I am passionate about finding and preserving the stories of our forefathers for future generations.

I have been researching genealogy for over 20 years. I received a certificate in genealogical research from Boston University in 2013, and completed ProGen 22 in 2015.

I teach genealogy to grade school students through various Charter School and Home School Campuses in Orange County.

In my spare time I enjoy indexing records for Familysearch.org and the World Archives Project through Ancestry.com.

I have access to courthouses, archives, libraries, and cemeteries in Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. I have researched throughout the USA. I do indexing and transcribing, as well as reading Italian vital records. I'm Looking forward to helping with your research!

I highly recommend Patricia! It was great working with her. She is a great researcher and a great communicator. With my research request, she was diligent and never gave up to get what I needed. I will definitely call upon her again when LA research is needed. Thanks so much!
