Catholic parish records from the Boston Archdiocesan Archives

    $25.00/record

    Description

Baptismal and marriage records up to 1930 for the Archdiocese of Boston located at the Archdiocesan Archives in Braintree, MA.

Visits are by appointment. I will advise you as soon as I make an appointment to conduct your research.

    Ordering Instructions

The names of the bride and groom, the date and place of marriage, if known from the civil record.

The Boston Archdiocese originally included parishes that are now part of other dioceses so it is helpful to have the address of both parties in identifying the correct diocese for the time period.

There is no central index to these records, they are arranged by parish. Boston alone has over 40 parishes.
